King
Carter Golf Club - 18 Hole Public Golf Course
Kilmarnock,
Virginia
The property King Carter Golf Club sits on is like no other.
The dramatic elevation changes, beautiful native soil, and historic landscape
provides the ultimate backdrop for this classic layout. By routing the holes
carefully along the natural topography minimal earthwork was needed to create this memorable
6,800 yard, par 71 public golf course. Please click on the picture to read more.
Green
Valley Country Club - 18 Hole Master Plan
Layfette Hill,
Pennsylvania
Green Valley Country Club, orginially named Marble Hall Golf Links, was designed and operated by William Flynn in the 1920's.
The membership recently hired McDonald Design Group to provide a "Flynn inspired" master plan for improvements to the course.
By investigating the history of the orginial layout and Flynn's other work we were able to create a plan that provided much needed
new infrastructure with a classic feel. Please click on the picture to view the Master Plan Narrative.
Southward
Ho Country Club - 18 Hole Master Plan
